If you really in need of money try working as an intern it’s really helpful.

Great post! What you said about consistency is so true. Perseverance is essental to making money online. And of course, one of the main things for making money online is simply that you start learning as much as you can from those who have gone before you, and have had success of their own. At least, that was my experience when I was first getting started!

This site is dear to my heart and is the only reason I am where I am today. I’m yet to find anything remotely close to what Wealthy Affiliate offers, so it’s easy to understand how much potential it may offer anybody else who is struggling. Yes it’s costs a small monthly fee but you can also try it for free  which gives you 2 free websites to help you get started. So just maybe, then you can finally break free, just like I did.

6. IZEA – IZEA works in addition to a blog or on its own. You get paid to blog, tweet, take photos and take videos. The pay is mostly based on your following, so if you want to make money with your tweets, you’ll need to grow you Twitter following.  Likewise, if you want to make money with blogs, you’ll need substantial blog traffic (more on blogging below).
But that was 2007, and quite a bit has changed since then. Where a side business was once a novel idea, it has since become much more mainstream. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, freelancers now make up around 15% of the workforce, compared to only 7% in 1995. And the trend isn’t expected to stop here. The BLS reports that freelancers and self-employed individuals may comprise 20% of the workforce by 2020.
In the past few years, this has become a popular way to make money. You start with a domain and develop it for some time. When it starts generating revenue and can make decent money, you sell it for profit. The benefit here is you don’t get into the risk of maintaining it for a very long time, and if the traffic drops for that website later, you are not at a loss.

You can start your YouTube channel, sell your own composed music, provide video editing services to individuals or corporate using proper outreach, start a video series by running a webinar, teach online by creating videos for your skilled courses & sell it [e.g Udemy], start your audio podcast and ask to join paid subscription for upcoming series, become a Voiceover artist for corporate videos or Audio bookmakers, sell your video editing service and more. The money here is pretty good!
As internet speed got better, it became easier to consume different types of content. Video and Audio became the next big thing. YouTube is the most popular platform where you can upload product videos, talk about something which helps others with expression and adds more content. The same applies to Podcasts.  You can start a  paid subscription for your channel or podcasts to make money.

Great post Lynn. So often people try to make earning money online more complex than it has to be. There was a time when I learned from a 'guru' exactly what I had to do to make money, and I couldn't help thinking it was exactly the same thing that I had been told so many years earlier (and exactly what you have listed here). I'd just thought that it wasn't complex enough to work, and how wrong I was. Simplicity and consistency is the key.
Every college student possesses some unique skill set and based on that they make money online with micro jobs websites. Micro tasks include works like review writing, blog commenting, social networking sites and forum posting amongst others. 19. eBay – Of course you can’t read an article about making money online that doesn’t mention eBay. You can start an eBay store and get serious about it or you can just sell some stuff to declutter your home. Either way, I’ve made my fair share from selling on eBay and it’s still a popular way to earn money. If you decide to start an actual eBay store, you’ll want to find a drop-ship business like Doba that will store and ship items straight to your customers so you don’t have to deal with an inventory.
In my second year, I became one of the Smirnoff Brand Ambassadors. Becoming a brand ambassador is a great way of making money on the side, as well as enhancing your CV. Websites like Campus Industries advertise these jobs, and a lot of companies run their own schemes. It’s definitely worth looking into for anyone who wants to have a steady steam of extra income over the year.
